2-day Hands-on Authorized Cisco Course

Course Description

Learn to install and operate a basic Cisco TelePresence network.

This two-day course is designed exclusively for Cisco channel partners and field engineers and prepares you for the Cisco TelePresence Video Field Engineer for Express exam (650-294 PATVFEE). Achieving Cisco TelePresence Video Field Engineer for Express certification demonstrates that you have the hands-on knowledge and skills necessary to install and operate a simple Cisco TelePresence network.

This is preparation for the Cisco TelePresence Video Field Engineer for Express certification .

Course Objectives

At the end of the 2 day course students will be able to install and operate a basic a simple Cisco TelePresence network. Upon completing this course, you will be able to meet these overall objective to put into practice the skills learned within the online component of the course including:

  • Installing , configuring and operating a Cisco TelePresence C40 codec
  • Configuring a Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server
  • Configuring and operating a Cisco TelePresence MCU 4501
  • Configuring and operating a Cisco TelePresence Management Suite

Intended Audience

The primary audience for this course is as follows:

  • Installation and support engineers installing the Express Partner equipment

The secondary audience for this course is as follows:

  • Sales engineers demonstrating Express Partner equipment

Prerequisites

The knowledge and skills that a learner must have before attending this course are as follows:

  • Completed and passed the PATVSEE exam
  • Completed the ELT component of the PAIETVS course
