| Deploying ONS Operations with SONET - ONS Operations Course
Course Audience
This course is geared towards Deployment Engineers with at least 2 years of field technician experience and/or installation training.
Course Description
Cisco optical transport platform ONS 15454 is evolutionary-it allows transport networks to seamlessly evolve with rapidly changing technologies and bandwidth demands. Cisco optical networking solutions combine efficient high-speed optical transport with a variety of service interfaces to liberate service providers from the fear of high costs, bandwidth bottlenecks, network inefficiencies, and changing technology trends.
The purpose of this course is to instruct the student on the operations of the ONS 15454 platform in support of optical transport networks. The scope of the course is to instruct Deployment Engineers in the procedures required to install, setup and provision the ONS 15454.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course the student will:
- Understand the technical issues related to the operations of the Cisco ONS 15454 Optical Transport Network.
- Be able to install and support the Cisco ONS 15454 Optical Transport Network and its associated network configurations.
