Our service in Product Training Development and Delivery is a team effort. We have proven expertise in Product Training ISD (instructional design), Project Management, Lab Design, Instruction, and Support Logistics. This team comes together and becomes your training department allowing you to move training from a fixed cost to a variable cost solution.

Product Training Experience

For the past eight years CCI has built superior product training solutions, from analysis and design, to development and delivery. We have developed multiple product courses and delivered to fortune 500 corporations nationally and internationally. Some of our successes include developing and delivering IP telephony training for Cisco CallManager and voice related products and Video/IP training for Cisco’s IPVC product line. Most recently developing product training for Cisco’s MDS 9000 Mulitlayer SAN Switch.

We continue to improve this service and now offer one-stop-shop support for technology product manufacturers who wish to offer training services to their customer. This allows these manufacturers to offer their customers a full service solution: product, integration services, and training services.

Expertise

Our expertise in Product Training Development and Delivery covers both technical training solutions and sales training solutions on hardware or software platforms. We will develop training solutions for cutting edge technologies including: IP Telephony/Convergence, MPLS, Optical Networking, and Storage Area Networking.

We understand that as a Product Manufacturer, you must develop new product sales training for either an internal sales force or your sales channel. CCI has developed several sales training programs including courseware, which supports Cisco's sales expert program. We are skilled in taking technical specification and producing compelling courseware, which ties features to customer benefits and allows sales staff to uncover opportunities in their accounts.

We will bring this expertise to you. We will define the need, design the training program, develop the training content, and deliver the course(s) to you, your channel and your customers. Our subject matter experts will work closely with your engineering staff to understand your products and how to best position your products. We will work to become as knowledgeable on your product as you are and in turn train your staff and channel to become experts on your product.

Development Processn>

CCI employs a strong Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology to ensure that students develop and retain the skills necessary to increase performance in the workplace. This development process is modeled on industry standard structured methodologies and produces an effective training solution. Our developers, highly experienced in complex technologies, use this methodology to help produce an effective solution for our clients.

ISD Phases>

CCI provides competencies in the five phases of ISD: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.

Phase Purpose
Analysis Determine the most appropriate solution for the client.
Design Create a design for the solution to meet the client's requirements.
Development Prepare the materials to support the client's requirements.
Implementation Release the solution to the clients.
Evaluation Provide quality control assessment of the materials throughout the solution's development and testing.

ISD Planning

To ensure success for a project, CCI provides in-depth planning, accomplished during the Analysis Phase, and includes the following steps:

  • Determine instructional needs (job task analysis).
  • Determine instructional system concepts.
  • Determine resource requirements and constraints.
  • Develop ISD management and evaluation plans, including the project plan.

This planning assures that the client remains appraised of the project status through clear reporting of findings on a continuous process. Our goal is "no surprises" at the completion of any project milestone.

ISD Development

CCI uses a multi stage development process that produces a training product in three drafts (Alpha, Beta, and Final), each one reviewed and accepted by the client. CCI has experience developing training for complex technologies across a breadth of job functions: account managers, systems engineers, planning and design, operations, and support.

Ensuring Quality Training

CCI’s design model features quality assurance throughout all ISD phases. This quality assurance includes the following elements:

Element Detail
Management Sound project management of time, money, and resources with periodic reporting to the client.
Administration Ensure that a project is properly scheduled and conducted.
SME Review Ensure content is technically accurate, within scope and meets design document requirements.
Final Quality Assessment Ensure that the solution meets the client’s expectations as defined in the design phase.

More specifically, this evaluation and quality assurance includes the following checks throughout the project:

  • Review and edit of all documents.
  • Client reviews all documents and signs off on material before we proceed to next phase of project.
  • Document all activities.
  • Evaluate the solution based on the results of a pilot test.
  • Implement measurable goals and milestones throughout the methodology's life cycle.

This evaluation and quality assurance ensures that the client receives a properly managed and implemented solution.
