Technical Instructors Cisco Voice

CCI is a technology course development and class training organization with a 10 year track record of training fortune 500 companies in cutting edge technologies such as Voice over IP, Storage Area networks and Optical networks. CCI has excellent knowledge of Cisco technologies and has delivered complex training to organizations such as Cisco, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Verizon, Bellsouth AT+T and other fortune 100 companies. CCI is in search of Instructors who will deliver training to CCI’s clients based upon the planning, design, implementation and operation of Cisco’s Voice over IP enterprise solutions.

The successful candidate will

  • Exhibit high quality instructional skills (Candidates will be asked to audition using a brief technical topic of their choice)
  • A CCSI (Cisco Certified Systems Instructor) is preferred but not mandatory
  • Enjoy learning cutting-edge technology and have the technical aptitude to adapt quickly to them
  • Exhibit a technical background in either IP or voice technologies
  • Willing to travel 2 weeks per month on training delivery
  • Local to metro DC area preferable

CCI teaches the entire suite of Cisco’s VoIP courses for the enterprise and a number of courses for service providers. These courses are generally lab-based intensive five day instructor-led training events that require significant delivery and technical skills. Some courses are taught using remote labs but in most cases a lab setup is shipped to the class location. CCI offers the following courses (see www.ccitraining.net) and the instructor will teach one or more of them:

  • IP Telephony Design (IPTD) which replaces EVODD
  • Cisco IP Telephony: CIPT1 and CIPT2
  • Cisco Voice (CVOICE)
  • Quality of Service (QOS)
  • CallManager Bootcamp 5.0 (CMBC)
  • IP Telephony Troubleshooting (IPTT)
  • Advanced CallManager 5.1: Migration, SIP and Presence (ACM5MSP)
  • Administering Cisco IP Telephony 6.0 (ACIPT)
  • Administering Cisco IP Telephony 4.2 (ACIPT)
  • Unified Communications System Admin (UCSA)
  • Unified Communications System Engineer (UCSE)
  • Cisco Unity Design and Networking (CUDN)
  • Unity Bootcamp (UCSA, UCSE, and CUDN)
  • IP Telephony Express (IPTX)
  • IPT Foundations (CVOICE and QOS in 6 days)
  • CCVP Bootcamp
  • IP Phone End User Training (EUT)
  • Cisco CRS-1 Essentials

In addition, CCI develops customized variations of all these courses based on client demand.

Trainer Responsibilities

As an instructor you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver training classes nationally (internationally an option)
    • Class length varies from 3-5 days
    • Provide Cisco VoIP equipment support which requires gaining in-depth familiarity with all components in an IP Telephony solution
    • Assist in definition and description of custom courses as required by the sales team
  • Assist in course development
    • Serve as Subject Matter Expert with development team in course revision, course customization, proposal development, etc.
